The same problem occurred on my 2003 Ford Explorer and 2003 Ford Mustang when they were both just out of warranty. It is clear that Ford makes cheap vehicles. I guess I am pretty stupid to have continued to buy Fords, however, after this latest incident with my 2007 Expedition, I have learned my lesson. AND...it does no good to beef to Ford...they could care less.
