I was parked in a parking lot letting my car cool down before I rolled up the windows and once I proceeded to roll up the window it made a loud thump/pop noise and the window fell between the drivers side doorway. I had my local mechanic fix it on 6/30 and right after leaving his shop, I was driving down the road heard a loud noise come from the passenger side (and almost wrecked into a parked car due to the noise!) and stopped to inspect what happened. I tried the window and it slammed right between the passenger side door. Now two windows and $800 later I have them fixed due to the window regulator going out in each one. This issue should be addressed as I called Ford and they would do absolutely nothing. Please recall this as this is extremely dangerous.

While driving on highway at 65 mph, with children in back seat, window on passenger side in back fell down, about a week later the other back window did the same thing.scared my wife and kids because it fell suddenly without warning. Could have caused me to swerve into oncoming vehicle.I reported to Ford but there only response was they sent me brochures to buy a new truck[ha ha}.I responded by telling them that my next new truck will be Chevy or Chrysler.

While driving in traffic my rear passenger side window, for no apparent reason, fell violently into the door. This was a very distracting incident that nearly resulted in an accident.

2004 Ford F150 lariat. Right rear window suddenly dopped into the door. Thw window will not go up. This is a saftey hazard. Whnn the window went down the noise was distracting and I had no idea what happened. I had to look for a place to stop. After stopping, I exited the truck. I thought I had a tire tread seperation. After checking all of the tires I decided to look over the vehicle. Since I had no idea what happened I was prepared to have the vehicle towed to S shop. It was then that I noticed that the rr window was down. I tried to put it up and could not do so with either the driver window controll or the rr door control.

As I was driving home from work today my drivers side window made a loud pop noise and it fell into the door, I was not lowering my window at the time, just basically driving normally. I am now unable to raise it. Last year it happened to me with my driver side back window. I had to take the door panel off and have it fixed. After reading previous complaints and seeing that it is a problem I am very worried about the safety of my children while I am driving. I am now going to try the dealer tomorrow to see if they can fix it under warranty. Living in Arizona where the temperatures are very high this can be a dangerous problem.
