Driving down town at normal speed heard a ding and ALL the dash warning lights came on, and ALL the gauges dropped (stopped indicating). After a couple minutes the dash went back to normal on its own. It happened 4 times within a half hour. After I got to my destination I turned the truck off for about 20 minutes. It didn't happen again that day. The original owner commented that the same thing happened to him (after I bought it of course!). What has to be done to fix this???

PS, The odometer is not working. Replacing the relay gets it to work for a while then the relay blows. I'll report this separately, but thought it might be possibly be related to this issue.

dash lights all come on

Yesterday on my way to work, suddenly all my dash lights came on (See Pic), my Tac and odometer stopped working. The engine was running fine. Approx. 5 miles down the road everything started working.

This morning the same thing happened again, after 3-4 miles everything was fine again.

My 2006 Ford F150 has this problem: The symbol lights come on intermittently on the dashboard panel. When it happens, the speedometer shuts off, the odometer shuts off, the rmp indicator turns off, the check engine light comes on, as do the dashboard panel lights for ABS, wrench, battery, engine, brake, water temp, and the air conditioner shuts off. Then a few miles later everything is fine again. Then the next day or a few days later it all happens again.

I took it to the Ford dealer and explained the intermittent problem. $800+ later, I drove away from the dealership and two miles down the road the check-engine light comes on again. They took my money and didn't fix the problem.

WTF, why doesn't Ford and Alan Mulally see that this kind of stuff gets corrected? I think Boeing is better off without him.

Great customer service?

It will ding, all of the dash lights (warning lights) come on. Sometimes it will go off on its own but I usually have to hit the dash and the lights will go off. Truck runs fine ac will go hot, and temp does not move but all other gauges shut off.

HELP! I love my truck and I’m not sure what is wrong with it.
