The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-150. The contact lost steering of the vehicle and crashed into a curve and a fence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the front passenger side tie rod was found to be fractured and the cause of the crash. The contact was advised that the steering column was fractured when the contact crashed into the curve. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 11,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Ford F150. While attempting to make a left turn, the contact stated that the steering wheel violently jerked and pulled the vehicle to the right, which caused him to crash into a fence. The contact sustained a large cut on his forearm, whiplash, knot on the head, and a broken finger. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where they inspected the vehicle and confirmed that the steering column fractured. The manufacturer was not notified. The current and failure mileage was 12,000. The VIN was unavailable.

The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-150. While traveling 55 mph in rainy conditions, the vehicle struck a water puddle. The contact lost control and the vehicle began to move sideways. He regained control and was able to drive home. This situation has previously occurred, but is worse when the roads are wet. The contact has taken the vehicle to two different dealers and neither one can determine the cause of failure. The dealers stated that the steering is operating normally and all parts are in place. The current mileage is 12,600 and failure mileage was 10,000.
