Got a crazy grinding noise in 2wd around corners! Did some research and found that the hubs might be activated! Studied the 4x4 system and it uses vacuum pressure lines. Figured I could replaced the cheap check valves first and see if it works before taking to mechanic. Worked. Had mechanic check lines for leaks and hubs for damage. Luckily no leaks and no hub damage as I took care of it quickly. $35 parts, $85 for 1hr mechanic to verify okay. Bought and returned hub parts ($300) as wasn't damaged/needed thankfully.
Take care of noises quickly y'all.
