seems like power car washes especially get moisture up about .8 cm into the light against the silicon seal. I could imagine mold and color change over time. I don't like it and sometimes even tape over the edges of the rear taillight when going through a car wash. It is an aesthetic PITA, but all still functions well. I've seen other trucks have foggy lights though...bummer.
I could try aftermarket but I'll wait until they are actually getting ugly. The tuck is 6 years old, the lights 4.5 (replaced due to rear ended) yrs and they are pretty good still.
3rd brake light leaks - noticed water on my leather seats and thought my wife had left rear window cracked open. Noticed the 3rd light has water in the lens and then searched Google and found this was a common issue
