Who designed the interior storage ? What is there in my base STX is awful . Its pitch black and no light down there so finding anything in the doors is a joke . And no center console without buying an expensive lot of options not wanted . Instead I get this gigantic center seat fold down arm rest with pull out cupholder way way down in no where land that one has to look away from the road to get or place a cup . How about a molded in set on the center arm rest ? And like Dodge Ram how about a slide open storage space behind that ? I bought a center transmission hump mount / cup holder storage bin at walmart - cut it to fit and glued it to the black plastic floor with 3M weatherstrip adhesive . It is slightly above poor as a solution but a lot better than the OEM attempt . At least I can place a cup of coffee there and put a few pens and and note pad in the remaining area of the walmart console . The depressions in the lower dash are too small to hold a smart phone of any size so pretty useless . Phone goes in slot on walmart console . Darn shame to buy $30K truck and have to upfit it with $8 part from walmart to go from useless to lousy . At least vent the door pockets to let some light in them .
