This is A COMMON problem and there isn't any recall or TSB that I can find. Very $$$ to diagnose and fix, thank goodness for youtube, I will deal with it myself.

I took the car to have the oil changed and it was also determined that the fan and compressor for the air conditioner were faulty. I was advised to call Ford because Firestone stated that there is absolutely no reason for this to happen. Yes the car is 3 years old and now out of warranty, but the car is too new to be experiencing this problem is what was explained to me. On this advise I called around inquiring about this issue and everyone I spoke to (at dealerships and garages) told me the same thing.

I called Ford corporate and filed a complaint and was told I would be contacted. I did receive a call and voice mail but I had to call her back as she did not return my call. I explained to the representative the issue of the car, and she told me that since the car was out of warranty Ford was not going to do anything for me and that I would have to pay for the repair. I understand the warranty, but if reputable garages and dealerships are telling me that Ford needs to take care of this, then why won't Ford even look into this issue? I live in Ohio, the air conditioning is hardly used and I have never owned a car with such an issue. I do not understand these car companies.
