I was lost and hit a turn to fast cause my car to launch and roll into a concrete ditch multiple times off a freeway turnaround. My airbags never deployed.
The car was stationary in my yard and when I started driving the airbag light would turn on and when I turn off the car and on again would go away then would return again being stationary
My son hit slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of him who had slammed on their brakes, hit a patch of black ice and slammed directly into the rear end of the vehicle in front of him. Only the air bag by his feet went off. None of the other air bags deployed. The seatbelt also did not lock up immediately. He sustained a concussion, left shoulder injury, neck pain, and bruising to his chest and abdomen from the steering wheel. He had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. The car is totaled and is in a salvage lot on hold for a week in case you want to look at it.
The contact owned a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, she struck a vehicle on the front passenger side. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contact and her granddaughter sustained seat belt contusions and medical attention was required. The vehicle was towed to the tow yard and the insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer due to being a total loss. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
Frontal accident and steering wheel airbag never deployed while the leg airbag did deploy.driving on a main street and a worktruck all of a sudden stopped.car was totaled by my insurance company
Went to stop hit the brake peddle and the car did not slow down, I pumped the brakes then hit them again still the car did not slow down, I impacted the rear of a truck, a fire started under hood in front of the driver's side at the windshield area, the steering wheel air bag didn't deploy nor did the seat belt lock, causing me to hit the steering wheel with my chest. Car was traveling aprox. 35 mph.
My wife and I were on RT3 traveling at about 50mph when we were hit on the left side which pushed us across the highway into a stone wall the car was damaged on the entire left side and front and right side and front the only air bag that deployed was at the knee there were no other air bags deployed we were both injured we have the police report and pictures.
I was driving my car on a city street going through an intersection when another car that I did not see or expect ran a red light slamming into rear passenger side door of my car. The door had to be replaced because of damage. I don't understand why the side airbag didn't deploy after such a severe impact?
I have a accident on 9/2/2016 and the car air bags did not work at all.. I was doing 45 miles in the 45 mile zone on a curve a drunk driver hit me on my driver side. I was injury after that with ribs fracture, and other.
I was driving at about 35 miles an hour when a person made an illegal U turn in front of me. The impact was in the dead center of my car. The air bag at my feet deployed but the one in the steering wheel did not. I had severe bruising from the impact with the steering wheel and the seat belt. I have pictures of the impact and the lower air bag deployment without the steering wheel air bag.
Our daughter was in a 3 car accident. There was bridge construction and all of a sudden traffic went from moving at highway speed to stopped. Directly ahead of our daughter was a refrigerator truck. Our daughter was not able to stop quickly enough and struck the back of the refrigerator truck. The speed listed above is an estimate. No one in the other vehicles were hurt, nor did their cars sustain repairable damage. My daughter's car was stopping straight at the point of collision and struck the back of the truck square. The officer at the scene suggested she be checked out in the er. My daughter sustained soft tissues injuries and bruises. After some time with the chiropractor she should be fine. My question/concern deals with the air bag system. The driver knee airbag deployed, the steering wheel airbag did not. Is that possible" are there situations where it is appropriate for the lower bag to deploy without deploying the steering wheel air bag" the seat belt did stop her, although it left a large red mark on her shoulder. If the system worked correctly that is fine. We would like to hear from someone with expertise in this area to make sure that there is nothing faulty in her car. If needed we can supply photos to show the exact damage. The vehicle is at the dealership now for repairs, so the mileage is a good estimate. Thank-you for your help.
Violent left side collision (T bone type) by high powered 400 hp 1995 Chevrolet comaro going through a stop sign, accelerating across four lanes, then leaving the scene of the accident. I was not injured. The car was significantly damaged. The car was pushed perpendicular and partly rotated. There were two eye witnesses. After a moment of recovery I gave chase and caught the driver in a driveway several blocks down Wisconsin ave in tampa Florida. Called police and my insurance company usaa. I was the only occupant. Air bags did not deploy. I reported this to Ford and regional service manager seemed to take great interest initially and said she would have air bags thoroughly evaluated after collision repair. After repair, a month later, I called her and she delayed responding for three weeks, finally responding after many calls to Ford customer service center. She said air bags were checked by greenway Ford where I had collision repaired. This was not true and a lie. Service was not aware of possible non deployment of side airbags when front passenger seat was unoccupied. Service checked alignment only. Further pressing Ford to follow through with their initial directions to have air bags evaluated has resulted in Ford refusing to evaluate side air bag function relative to not deploying as a result of this violent side collision. I am reporting this to you because I have doubt whether the side air bags in my Ford Fiesta 2014 and a second Ford Fiesta 2014, ([xxx]), I purchased after the accident, may not have functional side air bag deployment with the right front seat unoccupied, a potential safety risk for occupants of the rear seat. Driving on the highway at 65 mph car looses power you cant accelerate it hesitates and wants to shut off at times it does it wont go up hill and when approaching a stop light hesitates and shuts off you start it back up fine and it wont go transmission fails its automatic transmission does it once transmission warms up.
My daughter driving the vehicle, ran off road. Over corrected. Vehicle over turned end over end several times landing on side. She had to be removed through the windshield. Not one air bag deployed. She has a badly broken left arm requiring surgery to repair. She suffered multiple contusions and a concussion. The vehicle is a total loss.
