When I hit the windshield defrost button, it switches through all the different modes before landing on said mode. However, before making the switch, there is a loud clicking/grinding noise that lasts about 10 seconds. Very irritating to say the least. I made an appointment at the dealership to have it looked at. Smoothest, easiest warranty fix. They replaced the part.
Not even a month later, it started again. This time, it won't eventually land in defrost. This is very dangerous and will actually make my car fail the annual inspection. My car is just shy of 2 years old and has just under 20k miles! If this is what I'm going to be fighting with for the rest of my ownership of this car, I will strongly advise people to stay away from the Fiesta!
