CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.

In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

The gasket/molding around the driver's side door has been taken back to the dealer at least four times, due to the fact that it is literally falling apart to the point where water could leak in. (Fortunately we weren't caught in any storms.) I'm basically at the point where I need to return to the dealer every few months to have it repaired.

I figured I had to have faith in my local Ford Dealership to fix such a small issue... let me tell you that when they didn't fix it, I lost all faith in this particular Ford car dealership!!! SAD

The day after we bought the car we noticed the moldings on both the driver and passenger doors that is between the window and the little triangle window was coming out the top. My husband tried pushing it back in. It didn't last. The dealer tried the same thing. I am thinking super glue might do the trick?

Fusion SE 4 cyl

The molding on the driver side window between the operating window and the small front stationary window was warped upon delivery. This allowed water to get into my driver side door and short out my electrical switches. It took three trips to the dealership for the windows not working correctly for them to find the water in my door. The molding has been replaced and the switches have been replaced. My windows still do not work properly.
