SOME 2017 FUSION VEHICLES BUILT ON OR BEFORE 20-SEP-2016 MAY EXHIBIT A SLOW TO UPDATE FUEL GAUGE, ERRATIC FUEL GAUGE READING, INACCURATE DISTANCE TO EMPTY, AND/OR A FUEL GAUGE THAT DROPS FAST AFTER A REFUELING EVENT, WITH NO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) STORED IN POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM). REPROGRAM THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) SOFTWARE USING IDS SOFTWARE 102.04 OR HIGHER. FOLLOW THE IDS ON-SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE THE REPROGRAMMING PROCEDURE. AFTER REPROGRAMING, PERFORM AN AS-BUILT CONFIGURATION OF THE IPC. CLEAR ALL DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) AFTER PROGRAMMING.
