I have a 2019 Ford Fusion hybrid titanium, and it is exhibiting issues of a recall that Ford has issued for my year making model. But not specifically for my Vin. The recall is for the A.P.I.M. module and is a software glitch that although leave the infotainment system with a black or blank screen or right after using the backup camera, the backup camera will stay on the screen for some time and it states on the recall that it is a safety concern due to being a distraction for the driver on top of that, it will not remember any device I pair to it via Bluetooth, it will not remember navigation presets or any destinations I previously routed to with the navigation system. Every time I turn my car on for some reason it starts the navigation system with the route to my parents address. Also sometimes the screen will be unresponsive and unusable untill next ignition cycle. It kills my 12v battery because the screen will stay on after vehicle is turned off. This happens every ignition cycle

Backup camera keeps going blank with a blue screen also back up camera stays on for a few seconds while driving then the screen turns blue having to do a soft factory reset to the system. Transmission shifts prematurely or kicks down weird. Shifting from park to drive makes a klunk and clicking sound not smooth or quiet at all.
Drove home from work 10/7/25 no issues. Parked the car no issues. Son went to leave and the car just stopped functioning. OEM issues I believe is what my son stated with the computer system. Brake is down and won-??t release. Won-??t start, sounds like it is even when we aren-??t touching anything. Asking for goodwill / Good faith extension on the recall for this vehicle

I have a 2019 ford fusion turbo engine and everytime I accelerate the turbo is wicking into the pcm the control module which is causing hazards sucking as at random times whenever I turn left the steering wheel with get stuck and the brakes will lock for a couple seconds and then go back to normal. I had Meineke do a diagnostic on the car and they showed oil in the pcm aswell as the loss of connection between the pcm and its sensors. They drove the car and while driving the car going 20mph the car is reading as going 100
Going approximately 55 Miles an hour on the freeway and my car starts profusely shaking. I pulled to the side of the highway tow truck comes up behind me. Ann, my cylinder 4 was noted to be misfiring. I had it towed to Midas and that is where it was determined that engine coolant leaked into my cylinders and now being told that my car requires a new engine!! Mind you i have already paid 5K to replace the timing chain because apparently my car skipped timing due to oil pan leak. Both of these issues are posted on TSB BULLETINS ON THE FORD WEBSITE. I am NOT GOING TO PAY 11K for a new engine not to mention the 5K I already paid and all my other maintenance that I have paid for. Ford was deceptive knowing selling these vehicles with a QA ISSUE! AND THEY REFUSE TO ASSIST THE CONSUMER. THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR NEGLIGENCE!!
First, we will start with every time I turn my car to the left the steering wheel box and the brakes skid then the ABS sensor comes on Then we will start with the car every time I put it into a gear. It automatically goes back to park, and I cannot move the car in any direction. When the issue first started, I could reverse then when I put the car and drive in the middle of the street it would automatically go back to park which could cause a crash I only have video proof of this.
See attached document for complaint. Text from attached document: Despite completing the interim repair, the vehicle still cannot charge, and my repeated inquiries, including under case number CXH-05041947-L 1V3X6, have been met with vague promises of replacement batteries being available "next quarter" with no resolution in sight. Furthermore, I learned on July 23, 2025, that Ford offered a buy-back program for affected vehicles that ended on July 1, 2025, which I was never informed about.
The electrical system constantly discharges the battery. If the car is not started at least every three days, the battery discharges and must be taken to Ford to have the battery replaced. Ford customer service and the dealer know about this and have taken the position that as a customer I must go start the car because Ford cannot fix the problem, Unknown why they cannot fix it. To start the car every three days is very difficult for me because I am disabled and must climb stairs and walk to the street to manually start the car. Ford suggested using the remote start feature of furnished with the car by Ford. The remote start works but it is limited to remote starting the car two times and then you must go to the car and manually start the car. If I am unable to get to the car in time to start it, the battery goes dead and I cannot use my car in case of an emergency. Ford has been made aware of this, Ford says they agree it is a problem but that Ford Engineers won't remove the two start limit. Ford will not say why there is a two start limit. This could be fixed (limit removed) by just updating the software. Ford does not respond anymore when I ask them about it.
My front camera is often unavailable. I took it in multiple times and they couldn-??t find an issue. Recently my back up camera has been acting up. It is unavailable most of the time, other times the screen is black, sometimes it-??ll work and then cut out. There is a recall on other ford vehicles for this issue. I looked up if it needs a software update and it doesn-??t. We-??ve checked the camera and wiring harness and they-??re both intact and in good condition.
1.5 liter Engine built in 2019 has Antifreeze Leaking inside cylinder 1 needs Complete Engine. Also a recall on Electrical System propulsion System and Traction Battery Management System ENERGY Control Module Part Number: 23533.
During the month of dec 2024 my car didnt start. I called Triple A to jump start my car to get home. During Christmas break of 2024 i purchased a brand new battery and now a month and two weeks later the battery is completely dead again. Sometimes is hard to get the car up to speed and feels like it struggles to maintain it as well. The electrical system also kicks my radio connection off and on while driving. The first incident happened dec. 21,2023 and the second incident happened Jan. 27,2025.

2019 Ford Fusion. Just stopped running while driving. Everything just quit working. Took to shop they replaced alternator and battery. After driving a month car did exact same thing again. I think this is more than an alternator problem.
This has happened multiple times now. Always happens at high speeds (greater than 45 mph). I will be driving on a highway when I unexpectedly lose the ability to accelerate. First noticed in correlation with the collision detection feature showing on the display as NOT FUNCTIONING. That does not happen anymore, but I still lose the ability to accelerate periodically. Once I can safely remove myself from the flow of traffic and stop/restart my car the issue is resolved. Makes me believe this is electrical/computer origin. The vehicle was taken to the dealership twice where they claim -??cannot duplicate-?? but are willing to replace any item that I will pay for out of pocket. The dealership does not want to honor my extended warranty. The vehicle was purchased new in 2019. Within one year they had to replace half my engine (which they decided to do without warning when I dropped off for an oil change). The vehicle was stolen in 2023 (recovered by me in under 24 hours). Multiple cosmetic issues were repaired by a Ford authorized service team. This issue presented about 1.5 months ago 4+ months after the vehicle was repaired.
I put car into park to use the atm and then could not get it back into gear it gave a lot of different issues system fault error oil pressure errors battery error collision error and I ended up replacing the gear shift bushing which had deteriorated and broke off and that fixed most of issues now car makes loud blaring alarm sound that is not the normal car dinging it's loud and high pitched and acts like my battery is dead but won't start or shows any signs it is being jumped. Like the battery is completely dead won't take or hold charge.
check engine code for anti knock sensor. Dealer unable to fix after 4 attempts and car spending > 30 days in service in less than 6 months. Car sold to dealer and I hope they don't sell to an unsuspecting buyer.
