I, Kenneth Stacy Bell, purchased insurance from Car Shield in 2019 or 2020. I have been paying for the Platinum Plan, which protects the vehicle's engine, transmission, A.C., electrical system, starter, water pump, fuel pump and more.
On October 28, 2025, I took my car to the Ford dealership on Russell Parkway in warner Robins, Georgia for a diagnostic test, as the engine light was on. Mr. Alvin at the Ford Dealership said that the cam shaft broke and that I needed a new engine , so I then called carshield to confirm that Mr Alvin had contacted them about this situation and they told me I needed to provide them with a service record which I did with what records I had and they denied my claim saying my car hasn't been serviced since 02/23 according to a carfax report . I have done some of the oil changes myself because I didn't have the money to go to a service station to get my oil changed, I've requested copies of the reports on multiple occasion and never received any as of this date 12/10/23 , I've asked to speak with someone in charge or the person /adjuster who was adjudicating my claim and he was Raymond Gilson is what I was told , and he was suppose to contact me within 24 to48 hrs on several occasions but he has never contacted me as of this date 12/10/ 23
I've been with car shield over 5 years, never had a problem or a claim until now and now they don't want to pay to fix my car
