Takata recall - sold the vehicle by basil auto group with them knowing the car had the active recall and they did not disclose it. I have a letter from the dealer owner dated April 1, 2017 stating all this and saying he is sorry for that is not their policy. Now I have a car that is under valued as a trade, for sale privately or in any other transaction. Would like for dealer to buy back vehicle.

I'll call friendly Ford in munroe Michigan and they told me the part would be available until the year 2020 so I am driving an unsafe car until I can get it replaced would you please help
I believe I received an airbag recall notice as much as two years ago or more. I keep checking with the dealer regarding replacement and keep being told they don't have replacements and don't know when they will get them. Besides my concern about the safety issues associated with this, I am concerned about the impact on the value of my car until the problem is fixed. What can be done to expedite?
The issue has been identified for years. I cannot afford a new vehicle and our safety is at risk. Ford and the dealers do nothing to help us regarding the replacement. They state the replacement units are not avialable and have no eta. Your organization as well does nothing other than point me to the takata organization who you cannot leave a voice mail for or talk to someone for resolutions. How do we get help? Ford has washed their hands of the safety issue from my view. I have received zero information from Ford on and eta or a process to insure my families safety. Please help. [xxx] my current view is Ford, Ford dealership, the takata organization has done zero to help the american consumer. We only receive legal notices to contact our lawyer in the event of an injury and then contact takata. Well that is too late. Ford has the responsibility and the resouces to fix this isssue years ago and everyone turns their head and chooses not to help fix the issue. Takata recall my vehicle has been under active recall for almost 18 months with no relief in sight. Since it is under recall and there are safety issues this affects my ability to use my vehicle in any appreciable way. If Ford can't be made to manufacture or contract with a company to make the needed parts, then Ford should be made to repurchase all of the affected vehicles at above market value... since they are defective and from what I understand I can't trade the car in as dealerships can't resell them in this defective state. I mean VW was made to buy back cars just because the emissions software was made to deceive people but that cars were at least driveable... takata airbag recall cars are not usable and should be collected off the streets (for general public safety).... something like the 2009 gov't program cash for cars (or cash for junkers) was used to get older, less fuel efficient cars off the road.

Takata recall I received a letter of recall in March 2017. I called the rye Ford dealership on August 7, 2017 and was told the parts were backordered and that I would receive notification when they are available. Recently, I received a notice from tk holdings regarding the airbag recall. What am I supposed to do if the dealership doesn't have the replacement airbags? it's been eight months since I got the first notification.
