We were notified that the airbag is recalled. When I took the vehicle in to get it repaired, I was informed that there are no airbags to replace it with. This puts my family and I in danger whenever I drive this vehicle.

Takata recall: Called dealer on status of safety recall 16S26 (passenger airbag replacement) on 11-6-2017. Informed that Ford co. Will notify and were hoping by end of year for resolution. Driver airbag was replaced on 7-18-2016 (recall 15S21).

Takata recall. I was notified in June of 2016 that an air-bag recall was initiated. I have contacted penske Ford in la mesa ca on three different occasions and they stated they have not received any direction from Ford Motor Company. When can I expect a repair?

It has been over a year waiting for parts from takata. My dealership says that as of today 11/6/2017 parts are not available to complete the repair. The passenger side airbag is the one affected. My dealership says that they do not have a timeframe available to estimate parts availability. I was told to simply wait. And when a letter arrives to bring my car in.

Takata recall - my wife is afraid to drive the Mustang so it has been parked since July 2017 - Ford dealership claims that Ford has not found a company to make the replacement parts.we still make payments and pay insurance every month on a car we cannot drive.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Greenway Ford (9001 E colonial dr, orlando, fl 32817) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Have taken to evergreen Ford in issaquah, wa four times with an appointment and confirming that the replacement airbag was available. Each time after taking the car to the Ford dealership we were told that they didn't have the replacement. Also, they did not know when would be available. Last time was 10/31/2017.

"takata recall" received initial recall notice in the mail June 2016. Called Ford dealer to schedule repair appointment but was told parts weren't available but they would notify me when parts become available. No follow up from them. So I called them on 1/18/2017 to find out if parts were available. They said yes and took vehicle to Ford dealer on 1/23/2017. When I picked up my vehicle they told me this was only a temporary fix and Ford would be contacting me when permanent fix was available. I received postcard on 11/12017 from T K holdings about takata bankruptcy. I called Ford dealer to see about getting permanent fix done. They told me Ford hadn't released any parts yet for the recall problem and there was thousands still out there waiting. This has be going on for 17 months since initial notice I received in mail stating "urgent recall notice".

"takata recall" my driver's side has been "repaired" but I am continually told that the parts have not been received to repair the passenger side. Also, the gears in the electric driver seat are cheaply made of plastic and quit allowing the seat to move forward and back. All motors work fine but the way the seat is made you can't just replace the gears. This stopped working after the dealership worked on something else on the car seat (lumbar air bag)

Takata recall. I brought my vehicle to Ford several times to have this recall addressed and I was told that they do not have parts. I have been unsuccessful in having this recall taken care of and it has been over a year.
