Driver’s side passenger floor board was soaking wet after rain. Then the drivers floor board started getting wet also. You could hear water sloshing around under the car. This is a convertible mustang. It looks like there are lots of complaints already and it needs to be recalled and fixed.

The drivers door leaks underneath. This gets the rear seat floor board wet. When I took it in they told me that they don't cover leaks and I would have to have a "leak test" done on it. The cost was around $200

I purchased this Mustang as a third vehicle to be used only in fair weather and as a show car in the local Mustang Club. Just recently my daughter had to move back in with me and all of her stuff went to the garage which push my beloved black baby to the driveway. I was noticing a musty smell and wondered what the hell is that? Where is my new car smell? After investigation I noticed that the carpet behind the drivers seat was soaked. It has been rather rainy here and I have been having to sop up the soaked carpet daily. I haven't driven it in the rain so it has to be coming from above. I can't find where the leak is coming from as nothing else that I can find is wet. This is really irritating to me. There should be a recall on some sort of seal missing but I can't find any.

Thank you for listening,

Brian

water leak water leak water leak

water leak by kick panel drivers side .water ran through hole up under dash down by electrical drivers side on to carpet .water then ran under carpet along by drivers seat into the back seat floor driver side . dealer pressurized car and found leak in seal in the cowl by hing on drivers side.

To find and fix all the water leaks, it took 17 months and i was without the car for 65 days with no rental .i had to crawl under the dash to help find the leaks ,catch water and get pictures more than 70 times.it was all extremely stressful .i do wish to thank the body shop at the dealer for their hard work . i am not happy with ford who built the 2014 mustang gt /cs that i now see has a long history of water leaks which i bought new and was very expensive .
