The contact owns a 2024 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving 35 MPH, the contact felt a jolt from the rear driver-??s side of the vehicle and heard the rear driver-??s side tire rubbing. The contact stopped vehicle on the side of the road and had the vehicle towed to a local dealer, where the vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the rear suspension knuckle had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V593000 (SUSPENSION); as possible cause for the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 13,000.
