This intermittent, erratic, seemingly pattern-less 'truck not starting' thing is baffling, not only to me, but to whomever I mention it to and try to problem solve with. I have checked, run by, and analyzed every aspect that others have mentioned on here, other pages and youtube videos and no one seems to figure it out. I've talked to mechanics, auto parts stores, personal and non personal acquaintances.
My check engine light comes on completely randomly for short times and long times, which may or may not be related. I've repaired all the things for the codes thrown, but light still randomly comes on and off and I still have this 'no start' thing. I feel they are not related, but maybe.
My initial and still only considerations are it is a loose electrical somewhere or fuel pump. Fuel pump is fine, alternator, battery, valves, sensors (all are fine and have been cleaned), replaced solenoid (old one is working fine, replaced anyway), spark plugs check, cables check, ......
The most recent thing is took out the plug connectors going into the fuse/relay box under the hood and check for looseness. All mine where fine, but I squeezed them together for a tighter fit (it seemed there were a little loose), cleaned them. I'll do my best to get back on here within 3 weeks, when I suspect this 'no start' thing to occur again, but like I said, it is intermittent and unpatterned.
So, I hope this helps someone check another possibility and if you know what's up here, PLEASE email me and let me know.
Thank you.
