Front brake pads wear out every 3,000 miles or so. It has happened 3 times so far. I have replaced the calipers and rotors too, this has not fix the problem.
Braking system problems....brakes have been replaced front and rear 4 times in less than 2 yrs...blown wheel cylinder drivers rear 2 X....springs rusted drivers rear 4 times.... rotors and drums replaced twice, pad and/or shoes replaced 4 times.
The brakes made a loud noise when they were depressed. It was later determined that the rotors were pitted. The independent repair shop indicated this may be caused by a possible defect in the rotors material. There was 50 percent of the brake pad life that remained. Ford stated that there is no recall for this problem and will not repair the rotors. (the vehicle was past warranty)
Front rotors are out of round. When the brakes are applied they pulsate, and steering pulls from left to right until the vehicle comes to a complete stop. The dealer has been contacted. Front rotors have been turned and the rear brakes adjusted at owner's expense, brakes ok since.

Suspension alignment--dealer has made two attempts to correct constant wandering of vehicle toward low side of road. Unable to correct, vehicle drifts unless constantly corrected. Brake system--first reported to dealer as severe grabbing/pulling to right (vehicle will almost change lanes). Rotors machined, then pulled left. Dealer tried same remedy again, returned to pulling right. Last attempt, tried to correct suspension/front-end alignment problems to alleviate braking problems. Head lights--failed without warning at interstate speed. Running lights continued to operate. Spontaneously turned on again after about three minutes. Dealer unable to diagnose/correct failure.
