I was driving on a secondary road at approximately 35 - 40 mph and as I came to the crest of a downhill section, I lightly touched the brakes due to snow on the road. The truck veered violently to the left and went into a skid. I corrected and again lightly touched the brakes and the truck again veered violently to the left and I was unable to correct before the truck left the roadway and struck a large tree stump. The truck is awaiting insurance adjustment decision on repair.
Two minor accidents and several near accidents due to antilock brake failure, requested dealer look into problem, they said pads are the problem, pads were replaced two months ago. Independent mechanic confirmed that antilock was non functional.

When ABS brake system is activated, headlights/ horn and windshield wipers become inoperable, cause unknown. Consumer stated the dealer replaced the ignition but the problem still exists.
Brakes would pulsate when applying them. Thus, resulting in extended stopping distance. Contacted dealer, and the dealer took a look at brake system, and noted that it was consumers fault for brakes being defective.
Rotors and pads replaced after 6 months of purchase. Then, again after 3 months due to grinding noise and extended stopping distance. Currently, an independent mechanic found this was due to calipers being faulty, rotors and pads need replaced again at this time. Consumer stated rims and tires were also replaced, specific tire information was not given.
Vehicle had come to a complete stop, consumer kept foot on brake, vehicle rolled forward and rear ended vehicle in front, brakes had failed. Towed to dealer, who found brake system contaminated with motor oil. Dealer refused to honor warranty, stated consumer must have put motor oil in brake line.
Vehicle rear ended antoher vehicle and at speed of 20 mph, and both passenger's side and driver's side airbags did not deploy. Also, when attempting to stop prior to collision anti-lock brakes locked up.
Vehicle pulls to left when braking at low speeds dealer did aligment, disassembled brakes, and inspected them, but defect stills occurs. The misalignment caused wear on left front tire. Alignment was done twice and consumer was taking back the vehicle for another alignment.
Driving 60mph on interstate pheasant flew low in front of verhicle, as the pheasant disapeared in from my view the truck did an abrupt swirve to the left, I had no steering control, the truck went from the right lane accross passing lane and hit head on into flat concrete berrier, the air bags did not deploy, over $9,000 in damage including new frame. When the truck was being hoisted onto rollback I noticed that the tie rod was hanging. The yoke where the tie rod is bolted to (cast iron) was broken off and I noticed a lot of pheasant remains on the tierod and suspension. I am very concerned that a small bird as this would cause the cast iron yoke to break, also why my airbags did not deploy. The front tire and rim did not impact the concrete berrier. When I saw the pheasant I did not react to it, I did not turn the wheel or hit the brakes, this may sound funny but the truck swirved left dirrectly into the berrier. The seat belt saved me from serious injury. My main concern is the pc that the tie rod mounts to and no air bag deployment
