Had to have the window regulator replaced in both driver & passenger side windows while still under warranty (the regulator ground the plastic teeth off the gear inside the door). The last repair was done in the wintertime, while we still had cold weather.
After the repair, the power door lock on the driver's side will unlock the driver's door, but will not unlock the passenger door. The passenger door lock will not unlock either door. Since it was wintertime, and the truck is driven only by 1 person, the passenger doorlock was never used for a couple months, and by the time I noticed it, the warranty had expired & the dealer's "fix" for it was to replace both of the actuators at my expense. The only time anyone had ever tinkered with the doors had been at this dealer.
The work-around for this is to either use the remote (which won't work if the car is running), or the old manual method.
