My little Ranger has been a great truck. Except for the passenger side airbag recall which when I called to make and appointment to repair they couldn't find my VIN number. I have just cut it off for that side.
Moving on to my check engine light. It is a cooling problem and after an exhausting period trying to find the problem which we still haven't. That includes the mechanic at several different places and a dozen different auto part stores. Radiator cap was replaced, thermostat housing was replaced, engine was flushed, thermostat was replaced and I can go on and on to no avail but I just want it to be repaired. We have a few more things that we will cross off as a process of elimination and after that if it still runs hot I will be at a loss...
It's very frustrating to NOT know what the problem is and NOT be able to repair it.
Please, I beg of thee, if you have had this problem with your Ranger over heating and figured out PLEASE PLEASE let me know
Thank you
