After buying the truck, within a few hundred miles I had to go back to the dealer for shaky brakes, and it was fixed under warranty (turned rotors)?? Received a recall for taillights (fixed) and mentioned a spongey pedal. I was told everything was normal.
Now with just over 11K miles I almost rear-ended a car. The brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I pumped them and got half a pedal. It was "close" but no crash!! I brought my truck to the dealer again, on 03/24/2021 and explained my concerns, and was told that everything was normal. No codes, no leaks!! I asked did you bleed the brakes and was told "NO", everything was fine. Wow, what a crock of s***!
Ford is going to get someone killed if all Ranger brakes are like the ones on my truck. I'm not sure how many they have sold, but I surely would like to know who has brake concerns.
