the car is worse than i expected. completly worthless. not even compared to all the other ford taurus of 1994. everything is manual. no power anything like all the other 1994's. weak. bucks and jerks when stepped on the gas. like its "kickin in the gear with a delayed reaction." when stepped on. has bucked and kicked for a while. and the fuel pump was broke. and is a damn ridiculous ass price to pay for that car. when it has that much miles on it.

overall i think ford should defintly look at thier models and even the minor details because that will make a difference in the long run, and i am very dissapointed with ford and dont know if i should rely on them anymore. defintely not the car tp buy.

Back in October my transmission started shifting roughly, so rough I referred to it as being punched in the face. In January my transmission went out completely. I had a mechanic fix it for me and it was up and running in no time. Just recently (not even four months later) my transmission has been acting up again. This time it will buck and jerk a lot. If I press on the gas after I had stopped at a light it will jerk, then my tires will screech and I'll fly forward like a madman. How I'm fixing this problem: buying a new car and refusing to buy another Ford.

WELL FOR STARTERS I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST BUYING A FORD TAURUS. I MYSELF HAVE HAD 2 94 MODELS WITH THE FAMOUS TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS THERE KNOWN FOR HAVING. MY SISTER HAD A NEWER TAURUS THAN MINE WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. THE TAURUS IS A PIECE OF SH*T. MINE WHEN I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP THE CAR DOES NOT WANT TO GO WHEN ITS TIME TO. I HAVE TO SIT THERE AND REV THE ENGINE AND FINALLY IT TAKES OFF SQUEALING TIRES. I HAD ANOTHER TAURUS THAT DID THIS AND AFTER SEVERAL TRIES WITH SHOP ONE I GOT NOWHERE. I WENT TO ANOTHER SHOP AND THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT. IM NOT SURE WHAT THEY DID TO IT BUT I WISH I KNEW SO I COULD TRY IT ON THE HUNK OF JUNK I HAVE NOW. ALSO MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON CONSTANTLY AND NOW THE CAR IS LIKE MISSING REALLY BAD AND DONT WANT TO GO WHEN YOU GIVE IT GAS. IT WILL BARELY GO UP A HILL AND IF YOU FLOOR IT THAT DONT HELP EITHER. SOMETIMES WHEN FLOORING IT THE TRANSMISSION HANGS UP. I CAN BE GOING DOWN THE ROAD AND THE TRANS WILL HANG UP AND THEN GO BACK INTO GEAR OR WHATEVER THE HELL IT DOES. MAJOR PROBLEMS. I GOT ONE TO SELL IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN BUYING MY HEADACHE.
