the strut bushings are worn....mechanic said that he has had several ford Taurus owners in his shop for same problem. he said it shouldn't be happening. I had to replace struts, brakes, rotors and now he says bushings and ball joints are bad. but that the strut bushings shouldn't hv cracked.
