The quality of the GMC Acadia seat trim is terrible. Plastic parts with poorly designed clips that break. I only have 50,000 miles on this car and the seats are falling apart.
Just noticed that the plastic cover below the driver's seat facing the door is broken. This piece of plastic houses the controls for the seat adjustment. There is a narrow area that must present a weak spot. I see several other complaints about this on your site, so I assume that it is a common problem. If it is that common I think that GM should fix at no charge
