While engine is cold before reaching normal temp, engine seems to be a lot louder than normal. After normal temp is reached it quiets down. Its has exceptional power though. It�s a Duramax diesel and these engines are known to be quieter than other diesels. I have just purchased the truck recently and have had the oil changed also.
