The contact owns a 2004 GMC CK2500 hd equipped with cooper dean mud terrain radial SXT tires, size LT265/75R16. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, there was a heavy vibration felt within the vehicle as the front driver's side tire exploded. The vehicle became uncontrollable and veered from the right lane to the center median before stopping. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who replaced the tire. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 56,000 and the failure mileage of the tire was 17,000. Updated 10/22/12 updated 10/22/12.
