I am writing regarding an issue with my 2014 GMC Sierra. I purchased the truck in 2014 and have noticed an issue with the headlights while driving at night and in the rain. The headlights do not provide enough illumination when driving at night. Is there a service issue or recall in place to fix this issue? I have requested that the headlights in my 2014 Sierra be replaced with the 2016 headlights. This is a severe safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately. The dealer is willing to change the bulbs in the lamp but not replace the lamps same as the 2016 model unless there is a service bulletin or recall. I am still working with the dealer as well as GMC corporate to address the issue. I am been flashed by other drivers to indicate I don't have headlights on but they were on as well as being pulled over by the highway patrol who though my headlights were not on. I have noticed other complaints on GMC message boards as well as other places online. Please look into this issue to see if it can be addressed. The only way GMC will address it is by recall or lawsuit.
