The contact owns a 1998 GMC Sierra 3500. The contact stated while the vehicle was stopped with the brake pressed, the vehicle suddenly accelerated without warning. The manufacturer advised the contact to take the vehicle to a dealer for inspection. The contact had not informed the dealer, and the vehicle had not been inspected or repaired.
