The contact owns a 2002 GMC Sierra 3500. While operating the vehicle, the odor of fuel was noticeable inside the cabin. Upon inspection, the contact discovered fuel had leaked from the vehicle onto the ground. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 120,000.
