The contact owns a 1995 Honda Accord. While driving 70 mph with the air conditioner running, smoke appeared under the hood on the passenger side of the vehicle and the temperature gauge increased. The contact mentioned that the failure also occurred when the air conditioner was not activated. Also, when the gear shifter was engaged in "D4", the gear indicator blinked "P". the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 149,995.

A/C-heat- the switch to change hot/cold on dash keeps breaking. It "freezes into on position, and you cannot adjust the temperature. Driver power window switch- only when it rains or snows the window will go down just fine, but will not go back up. You have to keep the window up so you can pull up on the window glass and press the window switch "up" to get the window back up (if your lucky & it goes up !!!) transmission-the transmission slips when you go around a corner. It also slips if you are coming up behind someone, slow down for them to turn (or whatever) when you re-accelerate, the trans. Slips, then kicks in. When you are going 65mph on a highway, the trans. "jumps", and you can watch it do so on the tachometer while it does so.
