CarComplaints.com Notes: Haven't we all owned one of these things at some point? Despite being a popular first car for teenage drivers and, as a result, being beat up like no other, the late 90's Civic is a true endurance car. And it still gets better gas mileage than more modern cars.

I bought 1999 Honda Civic five months ago to date when in park automatic shift sticks until you pump the brake a few times then it will shift.Problems with steering wheel locking up before moving you have to move steering wheel back and forth with force. From reading other complaints on Honda civics it is time to buy a different brand of vehicle other then Honda. One sure thing is I will get rid of this Honda civic death trap before it is to late for me or someone else driving it down the road.I am going to the Ford dealer ship tomorrow.08/14/2010. the civic has 150 thousand miles'
