I'm not really sending a complaint. I just keep getting recall notices but this vehicle was totaled in a car accident in 2009 so the vehicle no longer exists. Please remove it from the recall list. Thank you.
I had received the recall notice and made an appointment to fix the issue. A week after being replaced a warning light came on in my dash, I looked up the warning and found out it was related to the air bag deployment! I took my car into the dealership for a oil change and told service about warning light, when finished with oil change I received a list of car issues to repair but nothing about my air bag warning which is still on.
Have had front and passenger takata airbags removed and replaced a few years ago. But the (4-door) drivers side airbag and passenger side airbag (front only) have not been recalled, as far as my research tells me. The car, with approx. 55,000 miles on it, just sits in my driveway never used since. I had the expense and inconvenience of leasing a Subaru forester to be safe. I cannot sell it because of the danger of the side door airbags would kill someone I sell it to. It is not safe. If I could at least have them removed, that would be safer than having metal pieces all over me in a side impact. Scared to death to drive it, help!
Dealership (spreen honday of redlands California) failed to complete airbag repair (damaged other parts during "repair") and Honda of America won't get involved to resolve the issue. Dealership damaged integrity of dash by hacking out an unseen section as shortcut, used duct tape for electrical wiring, and left a piece of dash padding in my ac system. This was discovered June 2018 when changing cabin air filter.
Takata recall passenger/driver front side airbags need to be replaced. They were not recalled when same year Accord were and are takata. The front takata airbags have already been recalled and replaced years ago. I never drive the car for fear of a side impact and cannot sell it to anyone knowing the danger involved in a collision.
I have had a recall on the front dashboard takata airbags in the past and had them replaced promptly. However, that model Civic side airbags attached to the two front doors were not recalled, even though the 2005 Accord were. Only have approx. 55,000 miles. Can I get them removed from doors? very reluctant to sell to anyone because of danger if an accident. I had to lease another vehicle and let it sit in driveway because of above. Otherwise, it is an excellent old car.
Takata recall on September 1 2015 I had a rollover accident down a embankment. My airbags did not deploy. I flipped off a cliff & rolled, my airbags did not work!!
Takata recall - recently my airbag light has appeared lit on my dashboard. I was parked and noticed it as I pulled out of the parking space. I have not received a recall notice yet. I would like to receive a recall so I can have this taken care of.
On 7-26-2017 the car was involved on a car accident, passenger air bag inflated at point of accident impact, but the driver air bag did not. I took the car to a Honda dealer in whittier previously to be replaced, but apparently did not inflated at the time of accident impact.
I was heading home on 4/30/2017 approx 2 mins away when my car was cut off from another SUV cut infront of me. She misjudged the distance and my car immediately crashed into her car. I was going about 45 mph maybe a little more. After the crash my car had completely stopped and the driver side air bag did not deflate all the way.
Takata recall I'm very concerned that my car should be in all the recalls since carry infants, children, and adults as passengers!* with so many other years before and after mine was made are included. My air bag warning light has been on and my mechanic said that it should be included in the recall.
Takata recall I had let my brother used my 2005 Honda Civic he was driving in a city road someone run a red light and my vehicle impact the other vehicle causing dr airbag to deploy metals came out of airbag and got cuts on his neck lost a lot of blood and was rush to the hospital he was lucky
