I had the battery and alternator checked 3 times. They are fine, as 12.5v tested each time. The issue is possibly the starter, the mechanic is hesitant to replace it because they aren't sure if it really is the issue, which will cost around $400 to fix. Not sure what to do except take a gamble on replacing the starter. This is the first major issue I've had with this car since 2007 (1st owner). I've watched videos, and read reviews on the 07' Civic and it seems to be very common for the starter to be replaced at around 80k miles.

Update from Jun 22, 2016: A local auto repair business replaced my old (original) starter with a remanufactured denso starter (part # 280-6009) - they didnt let me keep the original starter because they are required to send it back for some sort of core fee. They did say if I paid them $100 I could keep the original starter. Labor took 1.5 hours ($100/hour) The new re-manufactured starter cost $278.00 I noticed the engine turns and the car starts faster than the previous starter, but we will see if it is fixed indefinitely.

My Honda Civic 2007 is having starting trouble. It does not have any battery related issue. Moreover, malfunction light, brakes and ABS system indicator remains on.
