Fairly often, maybe one in five times when I push the start button, it doesn't start. There is a grinding sound. It often takes several tries to start.

Crosstour EX-L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

This has been an ongoing issue. Sometimes the car starts without issue and other times it makes a horrible sound multiple times when I try to start the engine. It has yet to strand me but I fear that may happen. I’m aware of the multiple class action lawsuits against Honda over this alleged manufacturing flaw. Not sure if I should just sell the car or get it fixed. Almost afraid that if I get it fixed the way Honda suggests, the issue will return in a few months after.
