The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. While driving various speeds or while the vehicle was stationary, the air bag indicator illuminated without warning. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 180,000.
About a week ago the airbag light came on when I started the car and as soon I began to drive it blinked for a few seconds and now will not go off. The vehicle odometer reads aproximately 116,000 miles.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed due to the service charge fee. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle may be included in a recall for the air bags (perhaps pertaining to the clockspring). If so, the manufacturer advised the contact to call them and they would send someone to the dealer. Case number: 10207834 was provided. The NHTSA campaign number was not provided. The failure mileage was 59,900.
Rear seat, seat belt/air bag indicator light stays on. Rear seat heater switches are on the armrests, passengers turn them on thinking that they are for the windows. Seat heaters are left on, and drivers don't know it. Causing seat belt indicator switches not to operate properly." Rear seat heaters are constantly operating.".

The air bag light won't turn off. Started the car and was driving when it came on and it has been on and it won't turn off check out there is a faulty code that is showing up and the light doesn't turn off.
Airbag light on vehicle is on. The light is one when in park and in operation of vehicle. Dealership wants $130 simply to diagnose problem. Understand that airbag issues plague other Hyundai vehicles that have been subject to recall.
About 6 months ago my airbag light came on and is still on. The light is constantly on the entire time I am driving the car. It was looked at by a professional and was told that there is a problem with the air bag clock spring and it needs to be replaced. I have read several forums where other Hyundai Sonata owners are having the same problem.
Air bag lights on all the time the passenger side seat belt light always flashes the over head dome light is burning out and I have also had the front sway bar links replaced 2 times in 2 years in less than 10000 miles

Airbag light illuminated. Dealership claims that passenger seat track assembly needs to be replaced for upwards of $900. Car is out of warranty, but this is critical part of safety systems. Hyundai does not stand behind these safety systems.

Air bag warning light is on and will not turn off. Common problem due to clock spring in steering wheel, or sensor. Airbags will not be functional with this problem. Hyundai will not cover repair costs.

Takata recall my airbag light is on. My VIN number does not come up on the recall list. I live in hot climate, miami, fl and my car is 6 years old. I am concerned that my vehicle may be at risk.
Airbag light on dash came on all the sudden and won't turn off also passenger airbag light blinks non stop unless belt is locked. Light is on regardless of stationary, moving.
