I'm unhappy at the moment, this vehicle is a 2017, brought it new and the trunk stopped opening. I've had several cars in the past old and new and i never had a trunk to just stop opening. I went to the dealer where I brought the car and they told me that it would be $115.00 dollars just to look at it to determine the problem and when they find out the problem they would I would have to pay for the repairs to get it fixed due to the warranty being expired.
I don't mind paying for repairs on a car, but this is ridiculous for a trunk to stop working, the car is only three years old. I reviewed the recalls and there was no recalls for trunk problems on the list. Could you tell me why this trunk stop opening for no reason. I got an estimate that the part will probably be around 100 - 150 dollars not including the labor. Before I spend this type of money, I need some answers. I have been very pleased with my Sonata up to this point.
