My car had previously had an alternator issue, which I had replaced. I had been driving about 45 minutes on the highway when first the radio cut out, then the windshield wipers slowed down, and eventually the car just puttered out and stop running. Since then, I have tried a few times to get it started, and while it will start if I jump it, as soon as the jumper cables are disconnected, it putters out again. It seems that the alternator is not working, and when trying to figure out the issue, I found that the fuse hooked up to the alternator had blown. Fixing that didn't fix the issue though.
Is the problem the alternator? Because it was replaced fairly recently. Or is there something else that could be causing the issue?
