This vehicle has been a tank since I've owned it. Its always started, always ran good, and the 4x4 system on this thing is amazing. But on the highway one night, the blower motor started making terrible noises, and the heater resister went at the same time=instantly frozen window. I had to roll down 2 windows in order to even get to the nearest town, in a semi safe manor. Long story short, the blower motor and resistor need to be changed (apparently), every 150000km, regardless of operation, as the previous owner had to do the same several times.
