Thanks. I had the "front steering stabizer" replaced 6/11/10 after experiencing the jeep death rattle you described. On 5/24/12, I had "both front drive axle shaft universal joints replaced." These were both expensive repairs. (5/24 was $400)

One week after the 5/24/12 repair, I found oil puddling under the right front tire. I noticed it was dripping from the axle area, onto the inside lower part of the tire and dribbling to the ground.I also noticed some minor vibration in the steering. I took it back to the mechanic the same day and he put it on the lift. He said it was only some excess overfill oil, that it was nothing. The oil kept dripping and I felt unhappy but trusted it was nothing. On 7/12/12 I heard a bad mechanical-type noise under the front right of my car as I circled in the parking garage. I was also getting more vibration. I took it back to the mechanic the same day. Up it goes on the lft again. Now he says the axle seals need replacing as well as the stabilizer bar again. He says this is unrelated to the repair of 5/24/12 but I can't help but question this.
