The service shifter light comes on intermittently on my 2015 jeep Cherokee latitude. Service shifter light comes on dash and all lights on the shifter assembly are solid red. The service shifter light will not go off until the car is turned off and back on. It causes the heads up display to be blocked until the vehicle is turned off to reset the lights. The transmission feels like it is missing a gear or slipping between gears just before the service shifter light comes on. It does not have a solid time that it comes on. You can be driving down the road and it just comes on or you can be putting the car into reverse and it comes on. The jumper and bezel along with the shifter assembly has been replaced 2 times already. The first time it was replaced at my cost on April 8, 2022. The second time was replaced on November 30, 2023. My vehicle will be going into the dealership again because the service shifter light has come on again on July 14, 2024. This is a known issue and no one is doing anything about it after 90 plus complaints have already been filed with you.
I've done searches with Carfax and there's 4 or more recalls on my Jeep but it's not wanting to do anything now it won't even start I just drove it and the night before and I believe there's an electrical problem a transmission problem and I don't know what else and yes the car Financial Place knows about it and the place where I bought it from
Parking brake automatically engaged and left me stranded. I had it towed to the dealer and they found water in the spare tire compartment dealer. The repair tech said that water had damaged the parking brake module as well as others. I do not live in any area that has been flooded
El problema del carro está en los cambios. El carro se apaga emos pasado varias veces por riesgos. Sé a llevado varias veces a reglar. Y vuelve hacer lo mismo. Reporte recall w47

Service Shifter Error comes on and off consistently -- dealer said that this error is known and common and has been going on for many many years. There is no "fix" to the problem and replacing the entire console is the only way to try to remediate the problem but this often does not work. It is incredibly expensive to concerning.
I have had this shifter on my car changed and serviced 4 times and I still have an issue. The car keeps saying service shifter everytime I reverse. Barking brake module needed to be replaced. Car roof was leaking causing major damage to my car. I have all paperwork of services. Jeep tells me that because my car is not under warranty they can not assist me. I spent about 5k on fixing this car alone not including payments. I took this car to who jeep referred I also took it to the dealership I brought it from and same issue until this day. I gave up!!!!
The Electronic Parking Brake has malfunctioned because water has leaked into the liftgate. Jeep is replacing the power liftgate module because if water leaks into the car, this could cause a fire if the water reaches the module. Water is in my car and has destroyed the e-brake system causing it to go on and off unexpectedly and now I can't drive the car. According to an ODI Resume, "On May 11, 2016, the manufacturer released a Technical Service Bulleting (ODI #10191415, FCA #08-060-16) that instructs dealers on replacing the EPB module and inspecting the electrical connector for corrosion if a customer describes having the EPB not releasing." Jeep is willing to replace the Power Liftgate Module - Recall 49A - but not the EPB for the exact same reason. The dealer agrees with my assessment, but without Chrysler willing to cover the cost, they are not able to replace the EPB system for free and want to charge me $1000. Several lights are going off on the dashboard - Service Park Brake, the Brake light and now the Stop/Start function is disabled.

We own and lease mostly Chrysler /Jeep products in our family. We currently have a Wrangler, Pacifica, Jeep Cherokee. Our 2015 Jeep Cherokee has shut down completely while driving 4 times. The first time this happened was a year ago and we thought it was a fluke. Recently it has happened 3 times so there is clearly an issue with this 2015 Jeep Cherokee and it is unsafe to drive until this matter is completely fixed or the car is replaced. We are fortunate that an accident did not occur during any of these times however the last incident came very close. Very frightening !! The vehicle is currently at Rockland Jeep Dealer and I am attaching the estimate we received which is over $5,000. We have replaced the battery, changed the oil and have been without this vehicle for almost 2 months. We are hoping that Chrysler will pick up this expense since there were many recalls regarding this matter.
Randomly an audible alarm sounds and the dash indicates "Service Shifter" while the digital dashboard indicators do not allow to navigate away from that notice, and all of the lights on the transmission indicators illuminate. I called the dealer and they said they were aware of issues with that, but no recall exists. I Googled the "Service Shifter" and my model vehicle and apparently it's a larger problem than the Dealer indicated on the phone. I was advised to turn the vehicle off, open the door, close the door, and restart the vehicle. The error cleared but later intermittently reappears.

I own 2015 Jeep Cherokee. the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 23v338000((electrical system, structure); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The recall was announced in May of 2023. It is now February 2024. The only solution for this urgent recall is to park outside away from vehicles and buildings. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirm parts not available.
Stellaris (Fiat/Chrysler/Jeep) issued an urgent recall for my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk in May, 2023, related to the electric liftgate (recall 49A), notifying me that I should not park my vehicle indoors, as it can spontaneously catch fire. I can neither park in my garage at home (which violates my HOA terms) nor at work (which is underground) and be in compliance with the recall. I'm also unable to sell the vehicle back to the dealer. As of today, 1/29/2024, nine months later, I talked to both my local dealer and FCA directly on their helpline. There is no repair available and FCA confirmed by phone that there is 'no timeline available' for parts availability. This is unacceptable, as recall repairs should be completed in a timely fashion. I can be contacted at [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I've been waiting for months to fix the latest recall as part of the 'park outside' campaign, of which we received notice several months ago. This vehicle should never have been sold due to the 11 recalls it's had. I want out of this vehicle and loan. Please advise.
