The vehicle has been stalling at any rate of speed, causing the steering and braking to be maual and hard to handle for a 16-year old. Many people have complained about similiar problem with their Jeep with no found reason why, had to trade vehicle in. We took our to Jeep service center and they found nothing on computer first time, and said needed throttle body combustion chamber cleaned, done. Still stalled, now computer shows the mapping sensor, $275 later. Just for your info., not safe driving when vehicle stalls and service can't find problem, luckily father with 16 year-old when happened recently on curve and helped manuever vehicle off the road.

Vehicle jumped started by aaa. This caused the battery wires to melt. Mechanic says computer & wires were burned. Aaa connected wrong plus & minus. Some vehicle protected against this problem by having a diode and fuse which will prevent current from flowing in the wrong direction and damaging the vehicle.
