So I bought this 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 4.0. it sputters when it gets warmed up and acts like it's gonna die out, but doesn't. When I step on the gas while it bogs out, it just gets worse like it's not getting fuel. Had it diagnosed for $65 but nothing is popping up but they cleaned the throttle body which dark as hell and they cleared the throttle cables or something. They also did a 3 part fuel injection cleaner That helped a little bit then the problem came back. The upper 02 sensor is real rusty but the code doesn't pop up for that. It has had a complete tune up, oil change. Mostly all the sensors are new, except the upper 02 sensor. The shop told me it could be the idle sensor but that looks like it's still in good condition. idk what to do. I only paid $350 and I really love this Jeep. Anyone got any ideas?
