PE01021, vehicle was in park position with engine running when it popped out of gear and went into reverse on its own, causing vehicle to roll. Consumer jumped in, and put foot on brakes to stop vehicle. Consumer noticed vehicle was still in park positon.
Vehicle was parked in driveway in park with engine running, and emergency brake not applied, and vehicle suddenly surged forward, consumer's foot on brake, vehicle was stopped by garage door.
Vehicle was in park and still running when it jumped out of park into reverse, and went backwards into a building. Vehicle slammed into building so hard that it jumped into drive and hit another building before coming to a stop. Consumer has contacted dealer.

PE 01 021/rolled away in park: While pulling out of a parking lot, gear shift inadvertently jumped out of gear into reverse and caused vehicle to run into a wall. Dealer manufacturer were not notified at this time. Feel free to provide any further details on this matter.
While vehicle was idling in park it had rolled across the street into neighbor's vehicle. Manufacturer examined vehicle and determined that there was nothing wrong with vehicle. The vehicle went in reverse on its own from where it was stopped with the engine running and struck another vehicle.
While vehicle was idling in park it started rolling backwards, knocking consumer down and dragging her into a neighbor's yard. Vehicle impacted a mail box, and stopped when it struck a house. Consumer suffered head lacerations, scars on her forehead, and a broken left arm that required surgery. Plate and 9 screws installed during operation. Also, there was a back injury, and she was confined to bed for 6 weeks. Manufacturer examined vehicle and could not determine a reason for problem. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
Vehicle was parked with engine running, emergency brake not engaged, when it suddenly went backward. Driver door was open, door was bent back by concrete pillar. Consumer ran after vehicle, jumped in and shut off engine. Damage was $ $2500 to $ 3000.00.
Vehicle was parked in driveway with engine running, emergency brake not engaged, and vehicle suddenly went backward, across road into wooded area. Stopped when it hit a tree. Damage unknown at this time. No injuries. Vehicle sustained $1810.72 in damages.
Vehicle was in park with engine running, emergency brake not used, when it suddenly went backwards about 150 feet through a fence, consumer was able to get in, and shut off engine.

While vehicle was in park, consumer was unloading news papers. Consumer proceeded to walk away and heard a noise. Then, turned around and vehicle was rolling backwards. Consumer states that vehicle was in park and popped out of park. Consumer took vehicle to dealer, and dealer said there was no problem with gears. Also, dealer could not duplicate problem. Consumer feel this is related to investigation in todays newspapers on Jeep Cherokee coming out of gear.
While vehicle was in idle and park, vehicle rolled backwards side swiping a tree and impacting a neighbors house. Dealership examined the vehicle and repaired the problem.
Transmission jumped into reverse from park when brakes were applied. Vehicle traveled approximately 20 feet before consumer was able to stop vehicle. Dealership has not examined vehicle. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
Vehicle jumped from park into reverse while consumer was in a store, causing vehicle to roll across the parking lot uncontrolled. The vehicle was on a level surface and motor was running.
Vehicle was placed in park position when exiting vehicle, and vehicle jumped out of gear into drive, bounced off curve and went into reverse. Consumer has contacted dealer.
