On vacation, I experienced brake failure. I was unable to stop the vehicle. 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Took vehicle to dealership for repair. Did not have parts and noticed on the internet there was a recall on like models. Brought auto home un-repaired waiting for response from Chrysler. Dealership would not cover service and noted this is a defective master cylinder. Not sure what to do at this point.

The brakes don't work properly when coming to a stop hit a couple bumps and pedal had to be pushed to the floor, and the ABS didn't come on. Took vehicle to T to dealer, and they replaced master cylinder, but is doing the same thing. It stops but the pedal still goes to the floor.
