Due to an information on a www page of Chrysler my two cars Jeep Cherokee grand have brakes system defects and one of them problem with transmission oil cooler supply line. According to this information dealer should repair this free charge. Unfortunately the polish dealer I spoke to deny to do this. What could I do with this situation?

The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving 45-50 mph, the steering and brakes locked and then the vehicle shut off. The ebs light flashes on the instrument panel and the vehicle has to be restarted. The contact has been to three different dealers and was informed that they could not duplicate the failure. She was given a black box for a week to record the failures, but no failures occurred during that week. On one occasion, she was informed that the ebs system was not registering and the code was exsp-bas. The system failure was witnessed by family members. The vehicle is currently at the dealer. The current mileage was 8,666 and failure mileage was 3059. Updated 03/14/08. The consumer stated the vehicle lost power on several occasions.

The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The current and failure mileage were 16,739. While driving 35 mph up a hill the contact was coming to a stop light and the vehicle slowed down but would not stop. The contact had to pump the brakes very hard. The brake pedal went down partially. The vehicle had to be pulled over to the side of the road, and then towed to a dealer. The dealer could not duplicate the problem, and stated that the vehicle was safe to drive.. spoke with consumer 10/16/07, resending 2nd form. The consumer stated the repairs were the sum of $1,868.61 to replace all electronic components of the brake system. Updated 11/16/07
