Grand Cherokee Overland V6 3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

Bought my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (2014 model) about 2 year ago from a dealer. I noticed straightaway that the steering wheel had a "wobble" at 70 miles an hour upwards. The dealer balanced the continentals and aligned the front wheels without really improving the situation. I replaced all 4 tires as they were worn irregular with again no noticeable difference. Then I had all 4 wheels aligned on a Hunter Digital Alignment System this showed pre-adjustment that the wheels were out of alignment. Then only after a 1000 miles my front tires worn on the outside that bad that I had to replace the front tires. I again asked the 4 wheels to be checked again and there it gets really strange as the pre-test shown the wheels and the camber out of alignment again. Of I went to another company to have the wheels aligned and again the alignment had changed. So I went to a Jeep dealer for advice and they were totally useless they still the wobble. I love the car but I hate the poor driving experience. Anybody out there who has any ideas besides selling the car on and take the hit?

Grand Cherokee Laredo V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,000 miles

We purchased the extended warranty on tires and wheels. This is good up until 36,000 miles. Since the suspension failed on the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, causing the tires to wear out with only 22,000 miles. Chrysler should replace the tires at no cost to me.

Also Jeep Click Jeep dealership at the auto mall in Tucson, Az. put in what they said was a new Alternator. The recall stated they were waiting for "Diode Parts" to fix the recall Alternator. Jim click then told me that it was a completely new alternator. When I asked if it was the same alternator with the failure issues they said, " no it was a completely new Alternator". I wonder when the recall will be coming for this alternator. Also if I will have the same failure of power issues with this other alternator.
