Rear hatch door does not stay in place after elevating. Hatch door opens automatically as it should. The hatch then falls (closes) quickly and heavily without initiation. Vehicle was parked, engine off, parked in a parking space at the grocery store the first time it occurred. Occurs continuously, has not resolved. Hatch has fallen on my head and my back.

My wife was driving us home from my doctor appointment. We were traveling about 45-50 mph on a flat county roadway. Without any warning, the passenger side head rest exploded and hit me in the back of the head. I have a pre-existing cervical Fusion in my neck which does not allow me to bend my neck. The force of the blow nearly caused me to hit the dashboard. I reported it to our local Jeep dealer who informed me that it was not a recall item, and would not be covered.

Car won't shift properly with the recent recall repair. It gets stuck in D or N and skips reverse when trying to back up. The light showing what gear I'm in occasionally goes out too, so I have no idea what gear I'm in after changing it other than letting it move. Has been happening a while but I don't have a. exact date it started.

My wife and I were leaving our neighborhood driving at about 15mpr and all of a sudden we heard a loud bang and it felt like someone was in the seat behind me (I was driving) thrusting both feet on the back of my seat. We thought something was in the backseat that may have flown off the seat and struck me, it felt like a bowling ball but nothing was in the backseat. The only issue is we were slowly coming out of our driveway and turning onto our street and never applied the brakes until after we heard the loud bang. After we calmed down we inspected my seat and noticed the headrest was 'discharged ' and locked out in an upward extended position. We didn't know it could even do this. Fortunately my head was not on the headrest at the time and I wasn't driving fast on the road. This violent discharge could seriously injure or kill someone if it's not looked into. I beg you, please look into this!!

On 7.25.20 my husband and I were driving down interstate 29 at 80 mph and the driver side headrest exploded forward with great force and hit my husband in the back of the head. Luckily he was able to keep control of the vehicle so we didn't crash, however now he is dealing with neck/shoulder pain. He had to remove the headrest so we could continue to drive it, there is a wire attached to the 1 side so that had to be snipped to remove headrest. Now my service airbag system light is on, I'm surprised the [xxx] thing even starts and runs. Now I feel like we need to remove passenger headrest completely to prevent another injury. This is ridiculous, I paid alot of money for this Jeep and have had numerous major issues that are expensive to fix. Consumer stated husband sustained neck/shoulder pain for a few days but is fine now. While driving on the highway and going over 50 mph the check engine light comes on and the speed/power is cut off and drops. If im going 70mph the and it happens, the check engine light pops on, dings, and the instantly drops speed to about 55mph and does not let me accelerate. I have to pull over and turn the Jeep off then back on and it allows me to go. This happens randomly and at different speeds. Also the check engine light has just gone away on its own before within hours of it happening. Some sensors were replaced but the issue keeps happening.

We have been having trouble with the shifter. Quite often when we push it into park it doesn't go to park. It either stays in drive or goes to neutral. So when we think the car is in park it continues to move. It is hard to get it in the desired gear like if the computer is T reading G it. We often have to try multiple times before it goes in the desired gear. We have noticed this primarily when parking, the other day we had to act quickly because the car went forward and hit a low wall, as we were parking at home.
